HOW TO GET YOUR POTENTIAL TAX NUMBER ONLINE?

We prepared a brief road map to guide you a bit to get your potential tax number for the notary contract procedure. Please ask www.Erasmus.biz Housing if you need help. 

1. Open the link https://dijital.gib.gov.tr/foreigners/kimlikNoBasvuru To avoid form reset (suddenly the page refreshes and your form fill out resets), try to open it using laptop/computer/desktop. Opening in smartphone will do that reset occasionally.
2. Fill out the form. Make sure everything is correct. If you don't have "Identity Number", you can leave it blank. Please ask www.Erasmus.biz Housing if you need help. 
3. For the mobile phone, although it is recommended to use Turkish phone number (to avoid any problem later on), you can use your own local phone number by clicking the "+90" phone code to change it to yours. Please ask www.Erasmus.biz Housing if you need help.

   Fill the security code and check the checkbox on the very bottom

5. WARNING! Make sure everything is correct before entering. Anything wrong in the form will force you to fix it in the tax office physically.
6. If everything is correct, press "Başvur" or "Apply"
7. WARNING! Do not close the window immediately!!! After applying, there will be a window at the bottom of the page that will provide you the PDF file that contains your Tax Number. Save the file, open it, make sure it's not corrupt. Then if you have the need to close the window, you can close it after you already sure that you got the tax number you need.
